- With the final stages of the Kimberley Conference & Athletic Training Centre (www.meetkimberley.ca) being completed, this $6-million, 24,000 sq ft, fully accessible conference centre will be the largest conference facility in Eastern British Columbia. It is located directly at the ski base, metres away from the North Star Express chairlift at Kimberley Alpine Resort. The resort owner and operator, Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR), is a major contributor to the project alongside Columbia Basin Trust and the City of Kimberley with additional support from both federal and provincial infrastructure grants.
