Skiing and Snowboarding in Kimberley
One of the main questions we get asked is how far are you from the Ski Hill and I always seem to be explaining why we chose the location we did. We looked at buying our vacation home right on the hill to enjoy the ski in and ski out access. The convenience was amazing but at the end of the day, I felt like we were in a hotel surrounded buy hundreds of people and no privacy or place to relax away from everyone else. I wanted my space and found it at Tall pines, it is literally under five minutes to get your boots on and be on the hill heading up the lift. No other vacation rental can provide this type of access and privacy. Sit in the Hot tub or BBQ on the deck and look out as far as you can see at true nature. If you want to see how far we are from the hill, check out the video below and it will show you door to door.
The Kimberley Alpine Resort is a full service ski resort in the beautiful Purcell range of the Canadian Rockies that is perfect for families or a seasoned veteran. With 70 runs to choose from that range from beginner to expert, there is a lot to explore at Kimberley. There are eight lifts on the hill including the North Star high speed quad and night skiing is available with limited runs. At the end of the day, ensure you stay at the luxurious Legends vacation rental. Warm up as soon as you walk in the door with the heated slate floors, then relax in the steam room or your private outdoor hottub. Finish the evening by watching a movie on the full HD 42″ plasma home theatre system.
